DSM - 1 Deer - 0

I was going to work last night and it was pretty foggy down the road I was on and all of the sudden bam a deer jumps out from the left side of the road. I'm doing about 40 at the time, and the deer hits my front bumper dead on gets shot into the air and I see the deer do two barrel rolls off to the right side of the road. My headlights didn't go out and the front mount was still holding boost as it always did so i just kept driving like nothing happened. I get to work and take a look at the front of my car and there's not a single mark more then was already one there. The only way you could tell that I just hit a deer was the abundant fur all over the left side of my front bumper. I checked coming back front work this morning and couldn't find my kill on the side of the road so i guess it lived. But i was just so surprised that it did nothing to the car at the speed that I hit it at. looking at the car i can't figure out where I hit the deer so luck be on my side(knocks on wood). The second i hit the deer i was more worried about my intercooler then anything since the bumper isn't in the best shape, but everything is fine I'm just not sure how.

Could've been worse. I ran over a dead deer once when I was trying to pull over (I couldn't get back on the highway in time to avoid it). The car had that dead deer stink for weeks.

Yea tom, this happened right after I Imed you. Still a litte supridedabsolutly nothign happened to the car. Some people just get a little lucky. Acually this is the first deer that i've hit so i'm glad it turned out as it did.

haha i hit a dead deer before too, i was following a van that went and straddled over the deer and i couldnt advoid it quick enough and hit what was left of him. my car only had a smell for a day or two
