I just got my Little Turquoise Bastard (1G AWD Talon) back from John and can't say enough good things . . . I had one of the hardest to diagnose starting problems, (a break lost somewhere in my wiring harness), 2 bad ball joints, axel bearings about to snap and a rusted out inter cooler outlet...
He treated my car right, kept me informed and gave me a killer price for all the bullshit he put up with trying to figure out why he hell my LTB wouldn't start.

Yup, luke is free to sling poo all he wants now, I can't yell at him. :D

For the record, there was no hugging involved whatsoever.

Yes it was my weekend Rally/daily driver . . . down for three weeks (two weeks in my driveway while I relpaced every ignition part trying to get it to start)...
I'm 33 years old and thinking it's time to grow up and get a daily driver . . .I feel like less of a man!

Fu*k that! I did that whole thing...sold my 95 tsi awd to get a 99 3.0 cl "daily driver." i have never been more miserable. now that's for sale and i'm going back to dsm's. :D they make me smile

Who said I was selling anything, I'm going to keep both the daily diver and the DSM for weekend rally and fun. Where the hell I'm going to park an extra car in my driveway I have no idea.

If I take the plunge, I'm looking at a 125K Audi 80 (1995, 2.8 V6, AWD, 5spd, $3,000, very well mantained, needs a clutch) to drive to work everyday. Then if I put the DSM into a tree I have a backup!

you bought a crap car... shouldn't have done it in the first place. Give it 2 months and when you're back in DSM's, we'll hear something else i'm sure

the car was not a piece of crap. it had some problems, but so does almost every DSM. i miss driving it though, and i want one again. and yea, you'll all hear about some problems with it...but i'll take them as they come.

On the contrary. I've seen a green 1g with a huge front mount and evo wheels a lot at the business building. Also, last semester, two hott blondes, one with a white 2g GST and another with a white 2g gsx. both had rims. One was dropped and other with tints. both had N1 cans on em. Dont see em around this semester though. :(
