ok well im from south jersey and i go on sjdsm every damn day .... but im sorry but i have to admit almost 75percent of the people on there are a bunch of fregin homos who arnt nothing but stuck up computer trash talking mother f*ckers .... ive been registered on that sight for almost 2 years now and all of a sudden i can post in the for sale forum ... been posting parts for sale and wanted for 2 fregin years and out of the blue i cant post there ?? never had a problem selling to or buying from anyone , them fregin administrator homos over there have gotten to much cock up there f*cking ass . That is the only forum that ive ever had a problem with and have ever seen so much god damn bullshit going on over there from just little ass kid trash talking to talking shit when someone would ask the simplest question just tryin to learn something , people get offended tryin to ask questions cause they are waiting for that one jerkoff person to ruin there thread by saying NOOB or what are u stupid , and shit like that , now i go to sign on today and all of a sudden im banned from the site , no clue why no fregin idea what the hell i did ... i really wish i was closer to north jersey cause it seems like u guys are alot easier to deal with and there is no trash talkin going on and thats where all the parts are that i need hahahaha .... Does anyone else get where im coming from ? i just needed to vent sorry guys but sjdsm gets two thumbs down in my book , and there hasnt been 1 car on there that has empressed me in any way , all the shit talkin that comes from them homos and there aint a person on there that can back it up ..... sorry but i despise SJDSM and i hope all there cars burn.
other than that have a nice day guys .

as much as people bitch about things that go on this board, i'm sure it could get MUCH worse. ie, sjdsm  ... one thing that Mike and greg hold sacred is that little ban button, i'm sure they have used it a few times, but not to 2 year old members
iboostdoyou
03-09-2006, 10:44 PM
however, I highly doubt that the ban was for absolutely no reason. You were either whoring up the for sale section posting a million times or bumping your threads twice a day. Repetitive questions are fairly annoying, there are a million places to search for such simple answers. As much as I would like to side with you on this one, the mods probably had a reason behind the ban

Granted Mike and I have very similar "limits" and will do what we have to when we feel the need. I can't comment on SJDSM's board because i don't frequent it whatsoever. Keep in mind, if you really piss me off, you will be banned, but that in itself (pissing me off) is a very hard thing to do.

Well ive never bumped a post in my life , i might post a forsale ad maybe once a month , if i do anything it is comment in the general forum or the tech forum , therefor i dont know why im banned and honestly its not that big of a deal now that i think of it cause i dont post there that much to need to be a member i can just read everything like i usually do . when u pm a moderator 4 different times u would expect them to get back to u but i guess shorty doesnt believe in replying to peoples pms asking why i cannot post in a forsale forum after 2 years , or maybe ignoring fellow memebers is just easier , noone has to be on my side about this one i just had to vent and let u know that there is probley about 5 percent of sjdsm that is worth dealing with .

actually,
i read gadgets thread before it was deleted... nothing that needed a ban over.. so what if it wasn't posted in the right forum. who bans over that?
i moderate a few mopar boards because i own a few old mopars, and i know that to run a website efficiently you have to treat anyone as a friend.. anyone on a board is your friend.. have some fucking respect.
the moderators should always work together and talk about who needs to be banned, or even just plain old warned.
why would you want to take someone away from your community that has done nothing but give back to it, and help other people? i can honestly say that gadget is the reason that my car still continues to run, because hes always there helping ANYONE out with a part that needs it, no matter what the situation.. he's a good friend.
now the fact that he was banned, makes absolutely no sense. honestly, if you were to ban someone on your website that you were familiar with.. and feel okay about it.. you shouldn't be running a website. to be able to ban someone.. you need a good reason for it.
sjdsm is scaring everyone lately.. and their website has been shit lately because of it. i've seen how much njdsm has grown in traffic and information.. too bad sjdsm is losing all its respectable members due to a few idiots.
plus, you njdsm'ers hate all us 856'ers.. you probably start banning us too soon.. lol.

Stupid NOOB!!
Just fucking with you dude!! Re-read what Jess said, she was not faulting the content of the post but rather the way you posted it. If you string a bunch of words together, never CAPITALIZE, and never use punctuation except for an occasion 3 or 4 periods stuck together then no one will give any credibility to you or what you have to say. If you use proper grammar and punctuation then you won't come across in a negative manner and it won't be painful to read your posts. I got about halfway through that pile of letters that was your first post before it started to hurt.

^^Took long enough for someone to point this out but, it's true.
For whoever doesn't know this. The only parts of the frame
that are removable are the 2-3 cross members supporting the
engine and the rear end.
So I don't what this guy is talking about "a bent frame"?
One thing is for sure he don't know shit about DSM's. I came
and look at my car once and went for a test drive, just after
it rained and I was sold. Why come back to look at the same
car two and three times? that shows you don't know what
your doing and lack of confidence...

I am confused with your logic on this one. Unibody construction is a manufacturing process where sheet metal is bent and formed then spot welded together to create a box which makes up the structural frame and functional body of the car. The cross members and other parts (engine/ drivetrain) are removable as stated. This does not mean that the frame can not be bent or damaged... Just because it is unibody construction doesn't mean the frame is not subject to bending or damage. Looking at a car several times means he doesn't know what he is doing? Perhaps he was just being thorough.

So where was the "frame" bent? You're right about what you
said about the unibody construction, but on 1G's there's not
alot of places to bend the frame where it will affect performance
and not be noticeable. Basically if the body is in good shape
where is the damage?
Ex. 1 of frame damage on our cars-> http://www.southfloridaracing.com/forum ... ight=talon (http://www.southfloridaracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32470&highlight=talon)
I know the owner of that car, and he is stuck on what to do next?
The car still runs, 160 across the board before and
after the accident. Shit, I want his motor...
Also, IMO if I was selling a car and someone came to look
at it more than once, I might take that as insult. If your
looking to buy something no matter what it is and something
appears wrong or out of place. Then you walk away, it's that simple...

Define "affect performance". In my opionion if the car can't be driven or can't be driven without the car pulling harshly to one side or the other it is worthless. The motor can run like a top but what good is it without a shell to sit in? The above pic looks like a salvaged car to me.... Scrap the body, keep everything worthwhile.

It was my understanding that the reason for multiple trips was that the seller was repairing some of the items for the buyer. I agree that buying a car that has been in an accident isn't the smartest idea. I personally would never do it, none the less he was under the impression that the car was not totalled, that it was simply damaged. I consider frame damage in a totally different ballpark when compared to a bent control arm or steering apparatus. Just for the record I don't know either the buyer or the seller, just stating my observations....

For the most part the body on our car is the"frame" so unless
there's holes in the floor or the front crossmember(the one
that runs from left to right, under the radiator) is bent or
warped, the body can be considered in good shape. So if the
car was hit in the rear, there really isn't anything to worry
about as long as the rear end isn't making any noises. Which
would be hard to pinpoint anyway since our cars(1G's) make
all these weird rattle noises anyway

Nothing wrong with that but his friend tells me that he only has $190 and that gadget would paypal me the $10 dollars. That was about 3 weeks ago and still no $10 dollars in my account.
