Is the water pump pulley supposed to spin freely or is there some drag to it? I noticed that mine doesn't spin freely, it has some drag on it. It doesnt spin like the p/s or alternator. I figured is was some sort of o-ring/seal on the shaft to avoid water leaks?? Thanks

It is supposed to spin freely. Similar to the alternator, but without as much weight to the pulley. If it's not spinning freeely, replace it.

it will have drag. you should be able to spin it with one finger but it really shouldn't continue spinning once you stop moving it.
