200,000 Party!!!!!

So yeh.. last night . It happened.. #737 hit 200,000 miles!!!! I know for some this isnt exciting.. but for how mint the body is and how well maintained it was an exciting event.. it started out with 199,996 .. We packed the galant full of 5 people.. a tight squeeze.. than headed out to rt 23. By the time we got there we came to the stop light intersecting birkshire and rt 23. My odometer read 199,999 .. o0o man.. soo we headed down rt 23.. and everyone in the car watched as the odometer changed to 200,000... than right before it changed.. We slowed down to 40mph and did a 3rd gear pull right thru 200,000!!!!!!! than we came to a stoplight and did a 200,000 5 people launch!!!!.. it was an amazing event and i hope to see many many more miles on the beast..

i'm on my way to have the highest milage dsm ever. few more months and i pass both of nate pharr's galants. i don't know if i can pass the high mile galant. that one dude has something like 350,000 miles on his gvr4
no dsm would ever do that.

yeh.. my Galant Gsx had 293,000 before i tottalled it.. that was getting up there... on highest mileage galant gsx.. lol

but luke.. yours is stock motor.. mines had like 5625625462543 motors in it.. i was just goin for body mileage

the original owner tanked one, put a jasper non turbo longblock in it, roasted that one and i bought it, put a jdm engine in and put 120,000 miles on it.

Bean is correct. My DSM has 305,000+ and the speedo cable broke for a couple of thousand. I bought the car in January 1998 with 200,501. In the 1st 3 years I owned it I drove it every day and racked up 86K. Since then it's my second or third vehicle. She's no show car but doesn't look bad for 300K+.

What kills me is the older this thing gets, I age twice as fast. I am sure this piece of shit has cost me no less than 10 years of stress off the end of my life!
