Racecar performance built by GM at seriously pretty cheap prices. WTF do you expect. This shit is bound to happen when you have to cut corners to keep the price down.

on the other side of the coin, what Jap manufacturer produces a low 12 second 116mph+ stock car with insane lightweight everything? Oh it also handles on par with anything road legal, comes with a warranty, and only costs like $65k. The vette has been the best new car in that price range for some time hands down, no contest.

If honda, toyota, or mitsu would even attempt to match this car it would cost $100,000 or more. Actually, I don't belive honda could actually build something that powerfull if they tried. Toyota would try it and it would cost $200,000, and mitsu would build it and it would blow up all the time and sidestep the warranty.

u have a good point, that is a great car for the amount of money. i cant wait to see the new Nissan GTR though. $70k price tag, 450hp twin turbo v6, and awd. that sounds like a 12 to me, we'll see though...

not that I am one to brag about gm quality or anything, but its a brand new design and car, there are bound to be issues, just like with ANY new design.

true, but fundamentals like keeping the hardtop roof from flying off isnt something new to gm or any company, really...

If honda tried to compete with the corvertte, the car would make 400Hp and 123 ft lbs of torque haha.

how about keeping the crankshaft from moving around in the engine block? Seems like a simple task that was done many times before on many other mitsu motors. Still, shit happens.
