There are a couple autos in the 9's. Not sure if the are in jersey though. Kiggly is/will be pretty fast.

There are very few of us here. As far as I know just me and Mike/98TalonTsi. He just got his fwd back on the road with a 50 trim and a 4000 rpm stall torque converter + lsd. He should be able to post some good numbers with slicks.

My car is awd with a big28 and stock torque converter. It's quick through the traps (94.x mph) but the 60' is pathetic (2.5) leading to a speedy 15.1 sec 1/4.

Nationally, the last big player is Kevin 'Kiggly' Kwiatkowski in the 9's with fwd. He went from auto to mt back to auto.

Russ Coxe was the King of the Hill, but he sold his aswd race car and moved on to greener pastures.

You probably know about local AT specialist IPT, www.ipttrans.com (http://www.ipttrans.com)

having the fastest auto dsm is like having a boyfriend with the biggest dick. you win but you're still a fag.

you look like more of a strawberry coolata and boston creme kinda guy

and billios, does your car lose breath up top or something? u trapped only 3mph more than me but et was a full second faster, i'd think that car would trap at least a buck

autotragic trannies mess with the timing advance, unless you have dsmlink or a chip to change things around a bit.

Are you saying my car was 1 sec faster thatn yours? Are you NT?

I'm only running 17-18 psi. I need to turn up the boost and continue tuning. Plus, when letting the auto shift for you, the ECU pulls timing between shifts. I just need to splice in a switch to bypass that signal at the track.

0.1 drop in the 60' = 0.2 drop in et, so a torque converter would make the biggest improvement for me.

The reality is, I won't be spending much more money on this car unless it breaks. (knock on wood) It's fast enough to get me to work. There is no return on this investment, besides another speeding ticket. Now I have a house to sink my spare money instead.

oh alright, yea i was just saying that you did a decent time in your car and i was expecting it to be paired up with a higher trap. i was just wondering if your car does something funky up top or whatever. cuz usually a full second difference yields in higher than 3mph increase in the traps

I think you have it backwards, good (relatively speaking) trap, crappy et. The car was pulling well up top, but I couln't launch. I did discover a loose turbo bolt this weekend, so that could be the crappy launch culprit.
