I know they are busy since they are short handed but i really need to get things done.
So here are my question.
I thought it was front control arm but as luke said it is tie rod end so i need to replace both front since i dont want to take chance so does dsmotorsport will replace them??
I'm in rush to get in touch because i'm planning on doing the swap also maybe paint job.
Hope i get some answer from you.

Alexander Grahm Bell invented this thing called the TELEPHONE.
Is everyone afraid of actually *talking* to people? All I see are posts everywhere about how vendors don't answer emails or PM's... call them up!

+1 Email and pm just means you really DON'T want to get your issue resolved right away, and you're just dicking around. You know how to get your answer quickly, do it.

I only deal with "customers" via email now. Period. I will go out of business before I start paying people to sit and answer tech questions all day again.
THERE IS NO TELEPHONE SUPPORT FROM DSMOTORSPORT! Dont' bother calling, your only going to get my outgoing message telling you to send an email or online order. I do not even have a telephone hooked up to the 362 5532 phone line in the office anymore becuase the ringing annoys me too much and I can't concentrate on productive work.
I haven't anwered any email pertaining to setting up appointments for labor in the last 2 weeks becuase Im in the process of deciding if I want to continue doing labor. It's a real pain in the ass compared to the revenue it generates, so Im on the fence about turning away all work from now on.
Email regarding sales of product and online orders are returned within a day. Phone calls are not returned.

In that case, for something as simple as the tie rod, take it to a local place you trust and get it over with.

We are not "short handed" like it's temporary kind of thing. All my employees left or were laid off, and I do not intend to ever hire more help. DSMotorsport will be run and opperated by me, myself, and I untill the end. Personal choice to run it this way, but now I have complete control over things and when stuff gets fucked up, I have noone to blame buy myself. Thankfully, now things get fucked up less commonnly and I actually know what's going on with the money.
A simple front control arm and tie rod swap should really be done at the place your getting the alignment from. No sense driving all the way out to west jersey for 45min worth of labor. On the flip side, I dont' have a full time mechanic, and I personally don't have time or patence to work on customer cars anymore. Philthy comes out here to do labor for me, but it's not worthwhile for him to drive an hour each way for a 45 minute job.
If you need the tie rod end...it's available on my site for online ordering on the maintenance page. THe alignment shop should charge you a whole $10 more to change the tie rod end while they are doing the alignment since they have to loosen it anyway to adjust it.

I'm glad your doing work yourself and getting everything together nate. Don't get me wrong when i posted on the fourms. Its just that while back i talk to brent about getting the car over there for for 6bolt swap. I know alot of member here recommand you and figure if you do tie rod end also might as well as bring the car there and get it done once.
Other than tie rod end, i have to assemble the 6bolt shortblock with parts i bought from brent and part that i still have to buy from you. So is this mean you cant do the swap and tie rod end??

An engine swap...sure I can/will do that. Actually, I should say Philthy will do that in my shop.
Big jobs are worthwhile to do for both of us right now, little half hr jobs are not. If the car is here for the engine swap, doing the tie rod end at the same time is absolutly no trouble at all. (you are still going to need an alignment afterward though that I cannot provide).

yeah that's is no problem at all. I mean my car is down at the moment since the tie rod end. I need to get in touch with you some how since i need to ask about the price also need to know if i could take the car while the 7bolt is out to get paint job...

No offence taken to this post at all. In fact, I like it becuase it gives me a chance to let the public know what's going on and why business is opperating the way it is.
I know it is frustrating to all you guys that are trying to get in touch by phone, dropping by the shop, and trying to get work done. Bottom line is I can't handle the stress of dealing with a big walmart type business anymore, so Im chosing to scale down and only deal with the sales that are easiest to handle efficiently. That is internet online sales.
Online orders I simply print, type, charge, box, ship, email tracking. It's possible for me to personally handle from order to shippment as many as 40 orders a day in this manner and keep my sanity. Brent or Ryan would be lucky to handle 10 orders a day by themselves while answering the phone and doing the packaging.
If I were to try and deal with phone calls at the same time, nothing is going to get done and product flow will be at a standstill. I would also be back in the hospital with a heart attach within 2 months. Fuck that.

if you need an alignment after the tie rods are done, bring it to mccarter's in rockaway. if you want to work out something with nate that when your car is done at his shop, I can bring it to my shop in rockaway to do the alignment. $40 for basic alignment, up to $300 tops if it needs a road race or drag race setup 8) or, if you're close and you need the car to drive straight right now, we can do the tie rods and align it before you go swapping motors. 973 627 5533, talk to Bob and tell him Phil sent ya
