I'm on my way to work and as soon as I get onto Rt. 17 in Tuxedo (NY) there's a silver Evo8 behind me and some jackass in a Saturn doing 45 in the left lane in front so I swing over to the right lane to pass the Saturn. The Evo follows and climbs up on my ass, I guess he wants some so I check to make sure the Profec is on and set to "high" boost, grab second, punch it, put a couple of cars on the Evo, and pull back to the left to pass a car that's in the right lane. The guy in the Saturn apparently "closed the door" on Mr. Evo so I figured that was it but I was wrong, he wanted more and did a ricer fly by at like 90-100mph. I didn't pay much attention to him after that but I was behind him for a few miles until he got stuck behind some slower cars at a light in Sloatsburg and I went around on the right again but not aggressively at all this time (too many cops and other cars around there). A couple of minutes later I'm waiting in line to get onto the NYS Thruway when who forces himself in behind me? Mr. Evo  . Now I know that "it's on" so I'm ready to stomp him as soon as we get onto the thruway. As soon as the entrance ramp ends he tries to swing on to my left and blow past but I was ready and mashed the gas to put a quick 2 or 3 cars on him again but he STILL isn't ready to give up and tries to get a running start at me so I grab third and punch it as he is flying past me. By the top of third he wasn't putting ground on me anymore even when I missed 4th. Once I shifted 4th I reeled him in quickly, moved right, got next to him, and we both slowed down. I looked over, laughed, gave him the thumbs up and he did the same. Yeah, I know it was stupid but the thruway was pretty dry from all the traffic, but the left two lanes were wide open, and we were both in the far left lane so we had a buffer in case anyone made a sudden lane change. That made my commute a lot better today :D .
