Whats up guys i am finishing up my engine and have a couple of questions?

Bottom end: JE pistons, Crower rods, cleaned and balanced crank.

Head: 1mm oversized SI valves, crower spring & retainers, 3 angle valve job, exhaust side ported, new lifters from Mavh V, 264 HKS cams and 4 layer head gasket.

That is all i could remember now. I have a EVO 16G III that was bought new from Extreme. I was thinking for such a well built enigine this turbo might get lost. The car is going to be used for the street and was wondering what other turbo should i get for great response out on the street. I also have all the supporting mods fuel, front mount, etc.....
I will like a quick responding turbo tell me what you guys think. Thanks in advance for any help.

Forget the quick responding BS and go BIG! My SCM61 is a blast to drive everyday but I think a PTE GT35 bolt on would be a good choice too.

if you are definitely going bigger, I'll take the e316g off your hands as long as there is no shaft play. Keep me updated!

I've been on both sides of the fence with turbos, I can say this, I do not like anything bigger than a 60trim on a 2.0, too laggy for me. I would first break in the motor with the 16g since bearing material has been known to take out turbos during breakin, and mitsu turbos can take more abuse than garrett pos's. The e16g kinda does it all, it will get you into the 11s just fine, is a great street turbo, cheap, reliable.

With my e16g I will be able to get around 11s ^? If this is the case then I will probably stay with it.

yes with good driving, 115-119mph is definitely achievable, 60' in the 1.7's with good shifitng will get you a high 11.

There is no BLINGTASTICNESS with this car. The car has no type of chrome on it, but if you mean clean and well maintained then you are correct. The car runs very well.

Right now I live in North Newark. to answer I_LOVE_DSMS question...

First of all this post was to get suggestions for a turbo. I just posted the pics since i just took them this weekend. For the slimer comment i told you it was an experimental color. We were just checking out different color mixtures at the paint shop.

gtluke no body cares about your suggestions the pics were not posted for your enjoyment.

Yeah that valve cover color is a little odd. What color is the car? As for turbo suggestions, what hp/trq/timeslips are you looking to put down?

Oh thats cool, I thought you might have rolled with some of the ironbound newark dsm cats (white gvr4, 700+awhp talon). Nice car you chose to drive in newark, noone really knows or cares to steal them :P .

Stick with the e16g, as mike said its realiable for a daily driver. Plus, bigger turbos dont always mean theyre better suited for the car.

And also, I like the valve cover, it's original and sticks out more then the red/or black and grey stock covers.

PTE GT32 as well.

If you go PTE GT32 make sure it's the 3255 and not the 3251. The 3251 won't make much more power than an Evo3 16G.
