For Sale: 1991 Turbo Dakota
Due to some crap luck and the need for transportation to and from work, I am listing my latest project for sale. My cummins ram was recently totalled, and the turbo dakota just lost oil pressure coming home from work one day. Located in NJ. Info and some crappy pics listed on my site here:
www.maximumpsi.com/dakota.html (http://www.maximumpsi.com/dakota.html)
The truck needs an oil pump, bearings, and a polishing of the crank to be good as new. I have the old int. shaft out and the pan off. If someone doesn't pick it up, it will get pushed outside until I find the time to put it together and drive it again. It has a lot of hard work and custom parts in it, and it's fast. This is your chance to snag a very cool truck at a fraction of the price of the parts involved. It made 330hp/300tq at the wheels with pump gas and a good amount of boost.
SDS standalone engine management with coil packs and good tune
new3 bar map
550cc injectors
new Holset HX35 turbo
new MSD custom fit wires
new custom 4 puck clutch and Mcleod pressure plate
new hydraulic slave cylinder
new3" stainless turbo-back exhaust
new3" stainless intercooler piping
Greddy type S BOV
large NPR IC
2 piece intake with custom sheet metal upper plenum
newcustom 304SS tube header
E36 M3 fuel pump
new brake pads, rotors, calipers, wheel cylinders and lines front and rear
The body is in good shape with no rust, and the paint has a little clearcoat fade. The rear blew up the spider gears as soon as the truck made power, and I welded the diff solid. It's a little jerky in sharp turns, but it puts the power down nicely now! The door key is MIA, and the gauges freak out when the headlights are on. That is all, someone take the truck before I end up having to part it or rebuild it myself. There are 8 cars in my shop outside, I need to make room for customer cars.
Call for more info if interested. $1500 firm. I need space in the shop. At this price I'm giving it away.
