Recently I ran into another issue. (not a surprise...) And I was wondering if this could be leaking or not, since I haven't made a boost leak tester for this car yet. I also couldn't get the bumper off cause every single screw was stripped previously (not a surprise) so the pics are a little shitty. BTW, it's the top mount of a blitz core. I was wondering if the top row of fins actually have air that passes through it, since it's the top layer. I do not believe so, however I just want to be sure. also sorry for the unfocused pics as my cellphone camera is iffy with macro settings.

and let me just say, this is the most butchered mounting job i have ever seen. I know exactly why it broke and after I get it fixed, its getting mounted my way.

cool, makes me feel a little better. I have never seen an ic mounted with one top bolt and like, no support on the bottom. The mounting is actually quite hilarious to see in person. Not to mention how a few of my ic pipes almost worn a hole through them by smashing up against the engine bay, genius! Now if I can only get this damn bumper off!

Since this thread is all f*ck*d anyway, I'll just add that the money saved by not having to fix a piece of sh*t jetta all the time could easily be applied to that car payment.

my car never needs work, has roughly 309,000 miles and i KNOW i won't jynx it.

since i put the car on the road in February it has only needed a coolant temp sensor. i unplugged the failed one and drove the car to get another. $7 i just threw some snows on the front. $125 M&B'd

i love my jetta and plan on driving it deep into 2007
