Anyone with a coil on plug setup. When putting it back on after changing plugs do you need to push it in until it is flush with the valve cover or just line it up with the spark plugs and bolt it down till its flush. I got my car started with the help of a jump box and jumper cables hooked up to my other car but it wont idle and is missing at 3500 rpm. I'm pretty sure its because I fucked up putting the coil on plug back on.
In other words how do you know when the coils are on the plugs?

Usually I can feel the rubber boot touch the spark plug and I push it over. Who made the COP setup you have?

Its a Buschur cop. I was told to put di-electric grease on the boots as that will help them slide over the plugs better. Or to pull the springs down a little bit as they can get compressed and not make good contact with the plugs. I'm gonna give it a whirl tonight and hope I can get it working.

I had to slighlty adjust the height of the coils to the plate on my Slow Boy Racing COP. Also, double check the wiring, maybe there isn't a good connection on the actual COP harness side.
