Play in transfer case?

I recently had a problem where my bell housing striped so my t-case started to walk off a bit. I felt the vibration while driving. I took it off and replaced all the stripped ones with longer bolts and nuts. However the input for the t-case has a little left and right play. Wasnt sure if that was normal or was damaged by moving around. I figured maybe the output from the trans would keep it from moving but still wanted to check. Also the trans output has a little in and out play but it didnt really feel too bad. Does any of that feel abnormal? Thanks

i've always noticed a bit of play when you grab the drive shaft. rotates maybe 30 degrees.
and thats across atleast 15 1g's i've been under

The part that has some play on mines isnt on the driveshaft side. Its the female part of the t-case and the male of the trans that goes into it.

I took the transfer case off a different car today it was solid so i think mine might be screwed. Probably fucked a bearing or something, never took a t-case apart.
