hey wasup i bought a yellowtop optima battery and once i put in the battery the battery light came up on my gauges but the battery was new and now my car doesnt start and i think my starter or alternator blew has this ever happened to anyone?

i think you missed one of the cables that is supposed to connect to the batery post.

Yea but i started the car i couple times when i had the new battery and then one day it turned off on me and did not want 2 start any more

why not just crank it and see if you have 12v at the starter solenoid? check the voltage of your battery. but a charger on it. im taking it the engine doesnt turn over at all?

hey wassup i put a charger on it and i left it charging for a couple of hours and now i finally got it working thanks
