anything and everything.. loose belt/tight belt, old age. bad battery making alt work harder, water or moisture getting inside, blah blah blah...

I needed to change mine, but it was actully broken, not just stoped working... the pulley bearing thingy was fucked and causing a wobble in the pulley causeing my belt to snap like 4 times....

you should do what everyone else does. call nate and ask for a new pulley :)
