My Motor is Messed Up

Well after my 1,2,3, and back to 2nd gear my motor is messed up. It saw over 11,000rpms and I did a compression test. Not Good!!! The head is coming off and I just hope that the pistons are ok....... :x Looks like another winter of saving money and fixing the Talon.

rev limiter didnt stop you? unless youre running stand alone or some other electronic. That sucks, I saw a clip of an M3, and a RSX doing that and the things screamed.

Rev limiter is electronic... what he did was mechanical. Rev limiters can't help you when you put the car in the wrong gear :) Trust me, i've done it before on more than one occasion :)

Don't feel bad i prolly gotta pull the head off my car for a rebuild :(

I pulled my head 4 times last year while slowboy figured out what was wrong with it and why it kept blowing oil. I can now pull my head in 1 hour or so but I still hate it. The worst part is that its gonna cost more $$$$$.
