AMS took top honors with their EVO running an amazing 9.61 @ 152 WITHOUT NITROUS. Thats fuckin amazing if you ask me. Maybe TT can stop puttzing around and do something with the car to regain the title.

That's an awesome time for AMS's Evo, but I don't think Turbotrix is "putzing" around at all. Don't forget, they were also building the Twin Turbo Viper and I'm sure they have been working on their STI as well.
When it comes down to it, they were running 9's in the Evo long before anybody else was and it took other shops a long time to even come close.

I'd rather see them tune and run the Viper TT :)

Not to knock TT or Vipers at all they are fast, its just hard to get all that power to the ground. Either way Twin Turbo Vipers are nasty

Except this viper doesn't even spin the tires thanks to traction control controlled by the AEM EMS.

It may also choose to not spin the tires by merely not starting for no real reason ;)

Congrats to the guys at TTrix for innovating and building the first real drag style evo, they are down but not necessarily out. AMS is a formidable adversary, and perhaps with this new evo on the horizon it will give them reason to start working on the car again.

Shit first evo8 in the 10s first in the 9s, we can hate but at the end of the day you can't take that from them.

The Viper is Nasty! You can mash the throttle in 1st or 2nd and it barely spins the tires thanks to traction control thru the AEM. The car is an absolute monster on the street. It never stops pulling. It's a lot of fun to drive.
