I had a 1997 Maxima SE automatic with 236k that was falling apart fast. I used it for work and school,(around 100-150 miles a week,and with repair bills piling up,I decided it was time for a new car,something cheap-either a base sentra or altima, automatic of course. I put 3500 down on a 39 month lease/199a month, and got a 08 altima 4dr w/ CVT. The CVT takes some getting used to but I like it and have put 315 miles on the car and still have almost a half tank left. Being a base Nissan Altima 2.5s with hubcaps, I dont feel pics are necessary.
My fiance drives my Xterra,but she is in school to be a teacher and that thing gets terrible mileage,and she will possibly have to begin to commute this spring. I use it to tow my jetski, but this summer I am probably selling my 1g and jet ski,getting rid of the Xterra,giving her the Altima and I could get an Evo,but I wont. I'll likely be getting a 2003/2004 Mustang Cobra. I'll keep it simple- CAI, Exhaust, pulley and a tune and Go Evo hunting. No more 4banger racecars for me.
