I didn't think the track would be open since the weather guy said 70% chance of rain. Considering we didn't get any rain tonight I decided to go. I got home early from work, put my intake pipe back on after RTV'ing the crap out the area around my brass fitting I put in. Car ran a bit better, so I did some closed loop tuning and a quick WOT pull tune. Went over to the track and kind of tuned as I went.
I ran like 23psi or so, I have an exhaust leak after the o2 housing, pretty sure I have a boost leak or two and had my full heavy box of tools in the trunk since I didn't go with anyone. With T's help I figured out how to use the stutterbox on Link and got some decent launches. I freakin went sideways and spun the tires most times though. And that was with 5psi on launch at 5000 RPM!!
I still had some knock up at the top on my last pass, but my computer crashed and I went 9 times already, so I headed home.
Best run of the evening:
60': 1.752
1/8: 8.042
MPH: 88.13
1/4: 12.556
MPH: 111.34
That run had my best ET and 60'. My best trap was like 115MPH. I'm still working on launching this thing. It fucking takes off like rocket!

Not bad at all! get her tuned right and you'll break into 11's?

My goal is 11.5 with stock intake manifold, head and block. Intake temps floated just over 100 so my FMIC is crap. I got boost leaks and exhaust leaks. I should be able to gain a full second when I fix that shit and get some decent tires that won't spin all 4 on launch.

thats awesome, good driving your first night out with that set up
Jeff, we have to work on your driving. You have a larger turbo, so it might make it a little difficult, but don't be afraid to use NLTS.(no lift to shift) It makes a great deal in ET.
Other then that, great job for your first night out.

Yea, I didn't try the NLTS feature yet. I figure I can work on that next Friday when we go.

I'm still going next weekend, but T called and said he wanted to go Friday the 18th instead of that Sunday. I just went because the track is close and I was itching to get some runs in

Well, I'm getting off at 5 on friday so it's still a possibility to race then. Especially since Friday nights are slower.

Hell yea. When I went Friday I got 4 runs in 20 minutes. Most of the time when I went in the staging lanes there was nobody in line...literally. Around 9PM it started to get a crowded...so there were like 3 people ahead of me in the staging lanes. Should be good times.

i believe he's actually dyno'ing the car right about now, as I'm typing this. Cant wait for some numbers to compare against the track times, and really see how bad his driving is
