Ha, what a joke.
Chrysler is in a bad position as they don't have any car chassis. They stopped doing R&D into their own when merged with Daimler and were pretty much using old Benz chassis. It was known they were looking for platforms to build cars on but I always saw they were looking at GM or Ford.
I like how they're going to look for cars from Chery.

Yeah, the comments are pretty stupid and have little to back them up. The Titan is a good truck. Every make and model has problems. For every complaint that is made vocal there is a happy customer who says nothing. Just how it is. The Titan never took off basically due to mainstream head-to-head reviews, I think. They always banged on it due to it's one motor offering and not offering a lesser motor (can't think of anyone who would wanta V6 1/2 ton), lack of regular cab model (the least sold configuration) and it's odd looks (which I happen to like). They don't tell you any good points really without pointing out a bad one and then when the final score comes out they say it falls short too often when it actuality it has similar mileage, more power, same or better capacities, more room, etc etc.
The other issue is Americans hate change and if it isn't a Ford, Chevy/GMC or Dodge then it must suck because only Americans can make truck. Ironically, the Titan is the only truck (I think) made in America.
Whatever, I love my truck. I'll keep it as a collector's item.
