Above is a link to an ebay auction for an exhaust setup for my evo. I asked the guy about the size of the exhaust and he said:
"...the
diameter of the opening is 2.75" on the inside, and 3.5" measuring from the
outside. "
I'm assuming this is roughly a 3" exhaust? I'm debating on whether or not to buy it, since it's only $100. Thanks for the advice guys.

DC sports is not an ebay company, theyre known for making manifolds, and a bunch of other exhaust stuff. if you get it that cheap, thats an awesome deal.

I didn't mean it was an "ebay system". I was just referring to the fact that I found it on ebay. The kid also says it does not come with any gaskets or bolts. Just the piping, muffler, and hangers....

some of the guys with evo's run the actual ebay brand exhaust.
being that yours is an 03 and u dont have ACD, u shouldnt have issues fitting downpipes.. the ebay ebay turbo backs are nice.. and for like $200 shipped for the complete system its sweet.. only downside is its made of shitty thin tin ee metal and rusts bad after one rain storm. i was thinkin of getting one before i decided to go with the full hks system

haha.. i figured out ur secret. you post this question on here because u know if you post it on evoM than your asshole is gonna get ripped to shreds... Evo owners are spoiled rich brats that buy $5,000 wheels and $2000 exhausts... in honest opinion.. a full 3 inch exhaust with minimal bends... will work.. no matter wat company it is.. other than that ur car may just sound like ass but be efficient with price over performance

I posted it on EvoM as well and got the same response. They told me to get the cheap-o e-bay brand setup. It was a good price, like $200 for the full setup, but I decided not to spend any more money on the evo right now. I shouldn't be spending any money at all for mods on the Talon OR the Evo, but if this deal goes through that I'm working on I'll have a 2gb Talon front bumper (finally!), bigger FMIC w/ short route piping for Talon, and an mbc and modded 1g bov for the evo.
