7 bolt motor rebuild advice

My cousin might be buying a 95 gst with high mileage and we were wondering what the best place, quality and costwise would be better to have the 7 bolt rebuilt. Hes not gonna upgrade it too much just wants the piece of mind of knowing his motor is rebuilt. How much would a basic rebuild cost?

Depends on what shop you go to, and how much of the assembly you want them to do. I can get you in touch with the shop that did my six-bolt rebuild and they can quote you on a price.

FWIW, if all four cylinders have good compression, then just leave it alone.
