POSITION: Associate Software Quality Assurance Specialist

LOCATION: Flanders, NJ

REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma minimum, Associates or BA degree preferred
· 2 or more years of software testing \ validation experience

DUTIES:
· Perform in a manner that meets the business need and the need of our customers both internal and external
· Has a broad scope and knowledge of software testing \ validation methods.
· Document and report test \ validation results.
· Revise and update test cases as required to correct errors in the test plan or reflect software behavior changes.
· Enter defects into the defect-tracking tool in a timely manner.
· Organize SQA documents in a manner that complies with company and FDA guidelines.
· Order test supplies.
· Schedule maintenance of testing equipment.
· Functional
o Ability to execute projects of high complexity
o Ability to effectively communicate status & progress of projects
o Ability to accurately estimate task durations
o Ability to communicate effectively staff both inside and outside the department.
· Technical
o Experience with automated tools desired
o Intimate knowledge of the Windows operating system
o Experience with software testing \ validation
o Experience with testing and validating instrumentation desired
