aem
with the black face looks good
nick, i have a white AEM guage that should match your white defi guages in the day time. At night, you cant even see the white thought. Just the red digital numbers and LED color change. Next time we hang out, check me gauge out.

I have a black face / black bezel AEM wideband and I think it matches pretty well with my black face / black bezel Defi boost gauge.

Jess, unfortunately, Nick is a ricer at heart and decided to buy those white-face indiglo gauges and therefore has a whiteface Defi boost gauge. :makesLshapewithfingersandputsitonforehead:

AEM gauges comes with different bezels and faces so you can change them. I think there are black and silver bezels and black and white faces.

I have Defi boost and EGT with the AEM wideband. I also wanted all my gauges to match and I think this looks perfect.

You people and your "matching" :P If it gives you the info you need, it's working. Make mine puke green w/purple polka dots for all I care, as long as it does what it's sposed to.
Oh, and on the subject of widebands I just wanted to double check that the 0-5v output from the AEM wideband runs to the CA only EGR temp sensor input (pin 15) on the ECU so I can log correct? Spanx

Info for logging various inputs with MMCd
You MUST have a NON-California GVR-4 to do this:
1) connect a MAP sensor to the Ground and +5 volt sources from the ECU (pins 23 and 24)
2) connect the center pin (output voltage) of the MAP sensor to the EGR temp sensor input pin of the ECU (#53, IIRC).
3) set the MMcD program to log boost based on which MAP sensor you connected.
aaaaaaaaaand for good measure, here's the 3si thread.

Good info Steve, but he was looking to log his wideband, not boost. I may use that info though.

He can use that to log his wideband as well. The settings in MMCD allow you to use a 2.0, 2.5, or 3 BAR map sensor, as well as a wideband O2 sensor as long as it has a 0-5v output to that connector. You just have to change the settings in the Preferences menu.

Yeah, I figured out what I need to, but in this diagram (http://dmtalon.v8eaters.com/ecu_harness.html) pins 53 and 15 are reversed. I'll triple check the 90 wiring diagram, but the info you gave me was enough, thanks.

Yeah I know that info pertains to boost logging, but the principle is the same.
