curious,
what happens when you don't have one and you just run a straight hose that dumps to the ground?

Youll be low on coolant all the time.
The coolant dumps into the bottle when the engine is hot. And when it cools off it sucks back in.

you'll be like every car built before those were required?
it'll dump out the first inch of water for the hot/cold cycle. after that it just blows air.

yup, just like my mustang. Making small pools for animals to drink from wherever it goes. :lol:
