the quaife is the only way that i'd go [and will]... it replaces the entire differential instead of an insert like the BM one.

I've heard nothing but good things about those. A lot of people love that there is a lifetime warranty as well. I'm pretty sure it is a drop-in replacement to the stock differential. I now those plate and spring LSDs that TTR and phantom grip makes calls for you to disassemble the stock differential somewhat to get it to work. I would say if you have too much money dumped in your car to buy an awd, definitely get the quaiffe.

It's supposedly a fairly easy install and gets rid of power-on understeer for FWDs. They're also a bit stronger and have better traction than insert "LSD"s though if you're only doing drag racing, you might want to consider a Kaaz instead. Even if you burn up the diff, you can just get new friction surfaces with a clutchpack type like that one. Though Torsens are quite strong since all they are is a crapload of gears in mesh.
Quaife has been really REALLY bad with honoring warranties on DSM differentials, especially center ones. But the front one should be OK. I'm assuming you're going to put this on the GS-T.
Only drawback with Torsen type diffs like the Quaife is they need preload to work, but that's something more for road racers & rally drivers to worry about.

Quaiff has a lifetime warranty on all its diffs, except for DSM center diffs. If you're FWD your diff is covered, only AWD center diffs have no coverage. This is the only diff that quiaff has that fails a lot, mostly because of drag racers snapping them. Also they have a small percentage of failures for no reason, Quaiff cant figure it out.
I had my center fail, and after long arguments with Quiaff (I dont drag race, and never launched the car breaking in a new motor) they wound up helping me a little if I sent them my dead center to "inspect". My front Quaiff is fully covered, but so far no problems with that one.
