Been looking to trade the Porsche for a viper.
Came across this,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Vi ... otohosting (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Viper-GTS-ACR-Mumfords-2001-ACR-GTS-650-HP-Viper-New-Motor-No-Reserve_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6209QQitemZ4604 658676QQrdZ1#ebayphotohosting)

Nice car, but I cant believe a DSM raced this thing. An ACR.. WOW

I thought it was going to be tommys car when you posted that title. Oh well, i'd rather ride a hayabusa then drive a viper if I had the choice. Could kill yourself in either one very easily...

Great!! How about this one. Your woman says its bigger than yours! :)

I like Vipers, Liked them ever since I saw one modded and pulled on the highway like I stopped. Much faster than any car I know stock vs stock.

That's also a good idea. But it'll still only be a corvette, blending in with the 40yo women and 60yo guys who drive them.

Gary thats an amazing car, but if you're going from your daily driver Porsche to THIS car, get ready for a rough ride. He's got super stiff springs, custom shocks, and replaced all the A arm bushings with metal. That fucker is gona ride ROUGH. I'm sure its a skateboard on smooth roads, but around here, ouch.

Also I wonder how it idles and cruises with that custom cam setup and ECU reflash. Bone stock 1st gen Vipers are known to be very rough cars to use as daily drivers, this one sounds like a real handful. Awesome track car, but daily driver?

But if you get it, I want a ride!!

eh, i took out all the rubber bushings in my mustang and replaced them with spherical bearings. it actually rode better because the suspension could move easier. you can hear it a bit, and you get more NHV

i hope to god your small. I dont fit worth a shit in the vipers. I can barely shift, turn the steering wheel, or keep my head from getting crammed into the roof. Great car, but small as all hell inside

kyle, you are by no means an average size person.

Although a very impressive peice of machinery, I don't suspect it to be a good daily driver.

it would even be small for a normal sized person. Maybe if your 5'4" 140 then its a perfect fit, otherwise, its gonna be tight.

All I can say is drive one. Besides, I highly doubt the typical demographic of a Viper owner is young males in their 20's.....

you may get noticed more in a viper but that new c6 z06 is disgusting, and you can get a new one for the price of a used viper. z06 is also probably a great driver on the road, its more spacious inside, and im guessing it rides smoother than a viper. if i were going to pick a car strictly for the track then maybe i'd choose the viper, but bottom line, my vote is for c6 z06 vette all the way.

Yea, just because you see a lot of old people driver corvette's doesn't mean it's "played out." Played out are all those civics/integras/etc. that put fart cans on and think their intake and stickers add 100hp. Corvette's are CLASSY cars. They handle like you wouldn't beleive, smooth ride, and very comfortable. My mom has an '05 base corvette and it's fuckin sweet as hell and fast too. Speaking of fast...if you ever come across a 'vette that was worked on my John Lingenfelter (not sure if thats spelled correctly), then there is no chance in the world you're keeping up. (800+HP, twin turbo :D )

Not entirely true... I've seen used Vipers with LOW mileage on them for around 45k. You will not get a new Z06 for that price. That leaves you 30k to upgrade your Viper :)

Hey guys, just looking. I am not doing anything right away, so the chance for me to pick up that car is minimal. It was just shocking to see that car on ebay.

As for the z06, that car is ultra hot. Carbon fiber, titanium stuff, mucho power and handling, and looks so much better up close. It will be new with a warranty too, plus trade in on my car would be easier.

The post was to point out this car and its coolness.

C5's are played out, not the C6
and if anybody thinks the new Z06 is going to blend in, then hand in your license because you must be, at minimum, legally blind

oh, and that viper IS sweet as hell
