this is the best winter ever. It could have been so much colder so I dont know what people can complain about. It has been extremely mild. One downside that I can understand is that this summer is going to be bad for bee's, ticks, etc since they didnt die off from the winter. Other then that, I am very happy with this winter. I think of how much more snow we could have had and how miserable if could have been.

Weekend snow sucks. Weekday snow rules. Less school the better, however this winter has been very mild. The last few years really. Even the summers arent too hot. Soon its gonna be like 65 degrees year round.

HAHAHA!! I've already got one of those :lol: that I don't ride anymore. Before the wife and I had the baby I used to run flat track up in Modena, NY as well as the indoor races in Middletown (they are going on this Saturday night BTW) but I haven't touched that thing other than to putt around the neighborhood in three years. The value of them has gone down the shitter since the 450's all came out. I'm sure your friend's machine is really nice but he'll never get that for it. Mine is set up for flat tracking so it's got Hoosiers all the way around, a front swaybar, rear axle, and -3" from 1989 length swingarm, all are lonestar as is the rear axle bearing carrier. It's got a FTZ ported 270 cylinder and FTZ cool head. I've got two Paul Turner pipes (mid and high rev), Works triple rate fronts with reservoirs, 39mm carb, Paul Turner reed cage, spare cylinders, and all the stock stuff. The reason I haven't sold it is that its gonna kill me to sell it for what I paid for it when it was stock only 4 years ago.

Yeah, I ran my buddy's '89 LT250R in 2001 (?). I'll be up there to hang out this weekend. It hasn't been as much fun since the guys from Speers Yamaha stopped going, we used to practice on Greenwood Lake with those guys all the time. Vito is a really good guy.

Tell me about it, I have gotten like two days of skiing in this year and they sucked. Glad I am going to utah in a few weeks. Although the warm weather makes its nicer to ride my bike, but there are no tracks open around here anyway, so not like it matters. I am sure next month it will get retarded cold and snow somemore.

supercross,motocross,enduro.. etc dont have anything compared to the amount of crashes and tight wins that you see at a flat track event..

i cant speak for the quads since i dont ride them, but compared to my 01 cr250, my crf 450 is 1000 times better. I dont know if the same can be said the 250R compared to a new TRX-450. I am sure the 450's are faster though.

I'm the most die hard 2 stroke fan but I've got to admit that those TRX450's are every bit as good as the TRX250R and maybe better. On the other hand, I'll be happy to drag race any single cyl. 4 stroke quad with my Eddie Sanders 330 kitted ATC250R. I've got to get that TRX250 out of the shed along with my ATC350X so I can start thinking about a 4x4 quad with a plow.
