There are questions that have been answered a million times over. not sure if i'll be bringing my car to the track though. well i guess i'll go to street night and race on my regular radials. i absolutely can not risk my car breaking this year, only because i don't have a place to keep it. if it becomes undrivable for whatever reason, i'm going to have a MAJOR situation on my hands.
so really my plan was to lay of full throttle for a while and get the car more streetable and enjoy it as a car instead of a race car.
which is why i'm redoing my turbo setup to accomidate the heat and allow more clearance under the car. i'm also trying to get real tailpipes under there. i'm not sure if its possible but i'm going to give an honest shot at dual 3" pipes.
maybe 2 real mufflers will be enough. i'm ditching the 4" exhaust for twin 3"

i put an extension on and a muffler and left it behind the driver door

6psi diff on a small stock turbo isnt as much as a jump compared to 6 psi on a big turbo.

Yeah because most cars run the same just idleing down the highway, even close to stock. Then once your under boost, all the fuel is being delivered.

if we knew that you had dsmlink it would have made the thread soooo much easier. Tuning on an safc/maft/vpc whatever the other options are, they generally do not have multiple boost functions. Dsmlink however does. If you provided us with all the useful info, it could have been limited to a 2 post thread, but instead, its a 10 pager. Be as specific and detailed as possible when posting, because remember, when you assume, you make an ass out of u and me, ha, i crack myself up...

we wanted to know the size of the turbo, because the change in power or a/f on a t25 isnt going to be as much of a change as 6psi on a fp green or something where every single psi is going to throw off a regular tune. You could probably get away with switching boost levels a few psi on a smaller turbo, when you would be in serious trouble if you tried it with a MUCH larger one

Boost is linear to fuel pressure, buddy. Run 12psi and you get 12psi extra fuel pressure. Run 18 and get 18psi of extra fuel pressure. That doesnt mean it will run perfect though.

since this is smack talk I'll address this hostily :) No ya tard, base FP is fp with no vacuum or boost, boost rises fp 1psi per psi of boost, so it will add the fuel that's theoretically necessary, but this is done for the reason that spraying fuel into a pressurized source is harder than an non pressurized source, so in actuallity you are getting 43 psi worth of pressure. The ecu understands this and adjust duty cycle accordingly. Different boost pressures can put you on different maps which is generally why retunes are needed, as well as running say 12:1 a/f on pump may be ok with honda boost, with 20psi you will want to be richer.

haha the infamous thread that started as a pissing contest between me and talha, which quickly got lost after page 3 and turned to a ilovecock bashing party for 25 pages :lol: :lol: :lol: .... what a great thread, I was amazed at it, i would go to sleep at 4am straight off of njdsm, wake up at 9 for work/class and it would have grown an extra 3 pages. that shit was sick, still a close comparison to the old school killa threads, but in a different way

wow i actually started reading more of that thread from the old site, that was fuckin hilarious... i was drunk for probably 1/3 of the posts i made, including such classy genius lines as "its been a rough week all around, felt good to vent, but seriously, LICK MY FUCKIN BALLS!" made me chuckle reading some of my own anger. Don't worry ant, read that thread about Adrian and it MIGHT make you feel better knowing that there is someone we loathe more than you. His thread went 11 pages longer than this little killfest
