okay no it doesn't
phil has his work cut out for him when i drop this bitch off for an alignment. :)
the control arms are adjustable length, and adjustable wheelbase (move spacers around)

the rack end is obviously adjustable, but its also adjustable for its height to compensate for the fact that the thing is lowered like 4" from stock.

i'll put a pic of the way the rack USED to look.

those struts make me wet.
the "coiloverness" is built in
billit aluminum struts, threaded for coilovers.
at the top are caster/camber plate

i just dropped over 100 pounds off the front of my car

tie rod ends
i put the extra spacers on the end of the bolt so i don't lose them by the time i get to an alignment rack.

the struts look purple on the camera, but they are black in person.
those calipers are next to go. i'm getting 99-04 mustang GT calipers, dual piston ALUMINUM factory pieces. they will bolt right on my hubs, just need the calipers and rotors.

this is what the suspension looked like last week

i took out the 1.5" spacers so the frame will lift up an inch and a half, the control arms are relocated 1/2" higher, and with the new rod ends, everything should be straight again and still be 4" lower.

thats alot of adjusting to get your trailer tires to go in a straight line ;)

excuse me?
those are 225 50 16's on the front
the ONLY front tires i own.
i sold all my skinnies. this car has WAY too much power to need any help getting down the track.

i know this is the front end, but are you going to do the coilover setup in the rear end connected to the roll cage/subframe? That would round off your setup nicely

i usually do
its much easier to turn them with no power steering :)
thats mainly why people do it. wide wheels and manual steering is difficult.
i'm sure it will be much easier now though, with 150lbs off the front.

i'm eventually bringing it to where philth works. i'm sure my alignment will be as much money as the shit i just put in there :)

Ashame you live so far away...I could Hook you up MAJORLY.

But it's not worth the hike just for saving money on an aligment.

But good luck! Looks good

this needs someone with serious experience.
the car cant' be aligned to the rear wheels, since they are just as adjustable. you have to start at the back and work your way up, and then back again i'm sure.
i also have to constantly keep track of the pinion angle, as that has to be within 1 deg and it changes when you adjust the rear suspension a LOT and changes a little when you make front adjustments.

nate has an alignment setup at DS, old as shit and no rack but i might borrow some pieces to get the alignment in the ballpark so i can drive it to the shop and it will be at least close.

Oh i don't think the guy I work with has a problem with that :)

he's been doing it for 25 years...But like i said...the drive isn't worth it.

No rack...man that must be an adventure :)

we just did a Starlet the other day that has what looks like the same exact front suspension that you have....the frame was a little twisted and the car was in a previous accident, so it took all fuckin day to align. so, about 6 hours and $300 later the car actually went straight
