Well thats the best way to do business... isnt it

Yes, unfotunatly, when Im working by myself, I will not have time to fart around entertaining people.

Every day I have to print and file the online orders, make invoices, order more product, assemble and package outgoing orders, make ups labels. That was brent's full time job.

Also along the way I have to do my job as well. All the bookwork of recieving inventory, paying bills, managing financing, answering tech emails, and general management of the building/business.

Im going to have to cut out the tuning and diagnostic work I was doing for customer's cars. I won't have time to leave the shop and drive customer cars, as well as spend time trying to figure out why they don't run or why they aren't fast.

The only labor jobs Im accepting now are strait up mechanical labor. No more non running cars coming in on flatbed. Nothing that philthymonger can't handle by himself.

will you accept something like full tbelt job with water pump?

yes, so long as the car comes in running. That's a simple one day job with no hassles. Just don't bring that car in for a "timing belt job" and not tell me till it gets here that the belt broke "no biggie right?"

What Im trying to eliminate are the cars that come in with oddball issues that noone else can figure out. Also need to quit taking in the jobs of clapped out junk cars that need EVERYTHING fixed, as well as the "half started project" cars.

Nothing is more annoying that trying to put together a car that someone else took apart 4 months ago, lost half the bolts, broke some parts, cut the wiring, and doesn't know half the stuff he brought with him doesn't fit.

Wanna sell me a couple of turbos for my new engine? It is in the machine shop right now getting measured and cut. Left you a message. Going to be considerably more aggressive with the new motor.

I try to keep up with everything, but lots of time I only have a chance to read and not post. I'm here though :)

Yea, going to go with twins and some nitrous. Shooting for the next level NHRA will allow me to run with 9sec stuff in the car. I think/hope it is 8.50's. I'm building everything to run just under that et... as I get braver.

I love that turbo you guys hooked me up with. I still haven't had a chance to push it hard yet. Wouldn't two of them would be a touch overkill, even with a smaller exhaust housing? I'd give it a go though considering my main competition has two T-76's under his hood. I'm tempted to throw the GT4067HPS on the Diesel truck and get two new ones for the car.

haha a bunch of guys have 2 t76's, or twin t-66's
its probably not the best idea. twin gt35's would be sweet.

twin 35r's yeah that would spool awsome and be able to make almost 1000whp. plenty to run 8.50s.

the old incon 1000 hp kits came with twin BBGT40's
this was 15 years ago when nobody had a clue what a "GT" turbo was

Need to hit a touch over 1000whp on the dyno. We have a little competition over here going on, but I do have nitrous going on too so maybe the twin 35r's and 100 or 150 shot of nitrous will be enough?

i think for some reason the incon gt numbers might not match our garret numbers.
but i do think that 2 gt35's would be pleanty

Nate dont take this the wrong way, how the hell do you stay in business? Is it tough to hire someone experienced to work with you? Reading your older posts on your health, I see a pattern growing. I hope you get that stuff straightened out buddy, life's short. I'm not mocking you here, don't take this response on the negative side 8)

I did some research. The GT35R turbos seem to be performing very well out there. I imagine I'd need the .82 A/R (or smaller?) turbine housings opposed to the 1.06. Is that turbo internally gated?

Actually things are looking up for me on every level.

Business is finally making money and will hopefully turn a profit that I can actually support my family on. A major expense cost cutting and refinancing does the trick. Im also going from paying 49,000 a year in payroll to almost nothing. In reality, I was paying employees to do the work that I could handle myself.

Health: Im down to 210lb from 227ish. I cannot belive how by body has changed in just 17lb lost. Eating bettter and excercizing every day. I think Im going to have my heath issues under control now, it just took that one scare to set me straight.

With selling all the parts from my evo8, liquidating significant amount of inventory, and a 5-digit tax return refund, Im finally going to have some of the business's old debts payed off and significantly lower the $ going ou the window in interest.

Thanks for the concern!

If your going to use T3 turbine housings, they are not internally gated. going to need 2 externals.

Congrats Nate...don't forget about my pm.. feel free to at least bounce some things off me so we know where you stand etc. Really glad to see things are going well and it'll keep getting better.

I'd like to build my own headers but still trying to figure out this combination. I like the externals so that's cool. What size are the T3 housings? AFR is trying to push me toward their 225 heads. I calculate that the 205 will be enough. This car will still be street driven, so I'll probably stick to the 205's unless someone has a good example to go bigger.

Going to move the GT4067HPS to the truck and try to get about 500 diesel hp out of it. We'll see.

Nate, glad you are doing better.

You should check into that if you can get a good deal. Not for me though.

I'm going to buy my parts through Nate. I purchase as much for my car from friends business as I can. Prices are good, customer support is awesome and we have a general interest in each other's projects/families/well being. Just better all way around.
